Choose from many different Tile options that can enhance your home. Choose from: Standard Ceramic Tile,  DIY Snap Together Tiles, Stone, High Performance Floor Tiles and vinyl tile. Choosing your tile might be the hardest part of a tile project. There are literally thousands of colors, sizes, styles, shapes and grades to choose from. As far as size goes, the current trend is towards larger tiles, like 16"x16" to 18" x18". The material that's used to make tile and the methods of manufacturing determine its durability and absorption. It's important to know what tile is best suited for your specific situation.

Standard Ceramic Tile: This enbodies more that red clay tile as it did years ago, now this type of tile also defines Porcelain tiles. Porcealin and Ceramic need flat smooth concrete surface to be installed on. Any sub-floor problems may show up after installation. So this type of floor needed good preperation.

Stone: Exotic floor tiles such as travertine, marble, granite, slate and quartz has now become more common. Stone must be installed on a perfect floor to prevent cracking to the tiles. The look is amazing and the cost is more for quality fill stone products.

DIY Snap Together Tiles: Several different companies(Avaire, SnapStone and others) have come on to the market with this process and it uses a ceramic, porcelain or stone tile attached to a special backer board. This allows the tile to be installed without the need for a perfect sub-floor. The grout is flexiable and stain resistant.

High Performance Floor Tiles (HPF): This is the newest type of tile that combines some of the features of ceramic with some of the features of vinyl to create the best of both worlds. The tile is very crack resistant, warm, easy to clean, durable and you can choose to grout of go non grouted. the grout is flexiable and stain resistant. This can be installed on most sub-structutres with minor preperations.
